is DealBundle?
DealBundle is a social shopping community created and
supported by members (we like to think of them as deal
fanatics)!
With DealBundle, users submit deals for review, then
you the user, (our community) rates those deals on quality
and popularity to promote to our main website, dealbundle.
Deals that have been promoted to DealBundle can still
be rated and commented on. In-fact, you can view the
"Most Popular" within DealBundle from the
homepage (its populated in real-time, so check it often
for the best of the best)!
You don't need to become a member to search or use
any deal found on our website. Our doors are open (for
free) to anyone looking for great shopping deals and
advice!

Does
it cost anything to use DealBundle?
DealBundle is 100% FREE! There are no charges or fees.
You will never be asked for any payment information or
be required to pay for anything on DealBundle. DealBundle
does not sell items or collect any money, we are a social
shopping community with tools to help users and members
find the best deals, offers and shopping discounts! |
Is
my information safe on DealBundle?
YES! DealBundle is committed to protecting your privacy.

How
do I update or create my profile?
First you will need to sign-up
for a free account. Then you'll see a link in the "My
Account" page titled "Update My Profile".
Once there you can enter as much, or as little information
as you're comfortable with! |

I'm
able to login, but I keep getting logged out. What is
going on?
Make sure you have your browser set to accept cookies.
Cookies are these tiny little membership codes that allows
us to tell your browser that you are a DealBundle member.
Without that code accepted and saved (this happens automatically),
DealBundle will not recognize you. To enable cookies,
follow the instructions below for the browser version
you are using.

do I cancel my free account?

How
do I set my contact preferences?
You can set your contact preferences in your profile.
At the bottom of the page you will see a check box. If
that box is checked you will allow other members to send
you an email. An email will be sent to your contact email
in your profile (we never show your personal email - ever).
If you keep that box un-checked, then no "Contact
Me" link will be used on your profile and you will
not receive emails from members. |
Will
my profile and deal posts be open to the public?
Yes. Your profile and deals will be available to non-members
using DealBundle. |

Do
I need to use the "Post to DealBundle" bookmarklet
tool?
NO! You can submit deals (online or offline) to DealBundle
from your online account.
The bookmarklet tool was created to make is easy for you
to save deals while you are shopping or surfing the web!
They can work great together for posting online deals
with the bookmarklet and off-line deals from your account! |
What
browser do you support?
Right now we support Internet Explorer and FireFox. You
can download your tool from your account
page. |
Is
this bookmarklet safe or contain any spam, tracking or
pop-ups?
NO SPAM HERE!! Our simple tool is 100% clean and will
never have anything that will jeopardize your privacy
(after all it does not install on your system and is just
a bookmark)! |
What
will the bookmarklet look like in my browser and what
will it do?
The
button allows you to post deals from any website to your
DealBundle. It automatically grabs your highlighted content,

Publishing
a Deal (top)
What
types of deals can I publish and how many?
We encourage you to post any and all deals (except offensive
content - see terms)
you find on the web, off-line, from newspapers, radio,
TV - you name it! |
How
do I post a deal with the bookmarklet tool?
You can learn more by viewing the How
to Post a deal page. |
Can
I cancel a post?
Yes you can! Simply click the "Cancel" button
(bottom left of posting window) and the window will close
and purge all data gathered from the current webpage. |
Can
I save a post, comeback and edit or publish it later?
Sure! At anytime you can click the "Save Deal"
button (bottom of posting window). This will save the
un-published deal to a section in your account called
"Edit My DealBundle". Once there you can delete,
edit or publish your saved deal to your DealBundle. |
The
image captured from the webpage is not found or is wrong?
This may happen from time-to-time. We are adding website's
all the time for our technology to recognize. We will
fix this ASAP, please let us know about this bug here. |
Expiration
date for the deal? What is the difference in "Active
Now" or "Starts Soon"?
Great question! Some deals you find are already started
and you can get the savings right away. In this case
you will want to use "Active Now" option and
simply enter in the expiration date OR days from today
when it will expire:
Now, some deals are NOT valid yet and are taking place
in the near future. In this case you will want to use
"Starts Soon" option and simply enter in the
date the deal will start AND expire:

Where
are my saved deal post?
You saved deal post are located in your account here. |
Once
my deal post expires, will it be gone forever?
Of course not! We know the work you put into posting it.
When your deal post expires, it will be saved in your
account here,
but it will not be shown in online searches and/or in
your DealBundle. If you want to re-active it, you will
need to edit and change the expiration date to a future
date. |

can I post a deal without the tool?

Search, Ratings, Comments & Tell a Friend (top)
What
is a "DealBundle Score"?
A DealBundle Score is a ranking based on community contributions,
ratings, quality of deals, total views, clicks and readership.
Scores are calculated in real-time and continuously fluctuate
based on the overall DealBundle community as a whole.
This scoring system was created to help shoppers on DealBundle
identify the best deals from the best members. Additionally,
this scoring helps prevent spam listings and/or self promotion.
DealBundle Score Ranges 1-10: 0-4 are new members in the
DealBundle community. 5-7 are active members with popular
deals. 8's are deal sleuths with quality deals. 9-10 are
experts at saving money and have a ton of superior deals.
Higher scores are harder to achieve! |
How
can I increase my DealBundle Score?
You can increase your score by simply by posting quality
deals that people will enjoy and promote to the main site
DealBundle. In short, the more you post and the higher
your readership — the higher your score!
Note: If you take sometime off from posting deals, your
score will return to it's original status faster when
you start posting again. |
How
can I find my DealBundle?
Your DealBundle can be access by simply entering www.dealbundle.com/yourusername
into any browser. |
I'm
logged in and the homepage is different?
Yes you are correct! As long as you are logged in, you
will see a private home page just for you! Here you'll
find cool stats and links to your DealBundle and account.
You will also see browsing options and popular deals just
like on the non-member homepage (categories, tags). |
How
do I rate a deal?
You must be a member and logged in to rate deals. Once
logged in, you will see a star rating option. Just mouse
over and click the star that best rates the deal. You
will then see a "Save Rating" button:
Click that and your ratings will be saved and calculated.
Note: You only get once chance to rate each deal and once
rated can not be undone. |
How
do I leave comments on a deal?
You must be a member and logged in to comment on deals.
Once logged in, you will see a comment box. Just type
your comment, click "Save" and your comment
will be available for all to see. You can always view
and manage your comments in your account. Plus you can
delete comment alert emails. |
Can
comments or ratings be changed once they are submitted?
No. Once you leave a comment or rate a deal they can't
be removed or edited. If you absolutely need to remove
a comment please contact us here
and we can do it for you :-) |
If
I send a deal to a friend, what will it say?
We do not attach any secret messages, ads or anything
you don't already see. We give you access to change the
subject (default is the deal title) and create a message.
We will add a link to the deal online so your friend can
easily find it! You can always check the box to be CCed
on the email. We will never use your or your friends email
address ever again! |
RSS (Real
Simple Syndication) Feeds (top)
What
is RSS?
RSS feeds allow you to stay up to date with the latest
shopping deals, offers and sales from your favorite DealBundle
member!
To subscribe to an RSS feed from DealBundle, you will
need a News
Reader or other similar device. |
What
is RSS feed for my DealBundle?
Each member's DealBundle has its own RSS feed. This allows
your friends to subscribe to your latest deals posted.
To view your DealBundle feed in your RSS Aggregator:
1. Copy the RSS url (yourusername.rss)
2. Paste the URL into your reader - done!
Every new deal you post in your DealBundle will automatically
be seen to your friends via RSS readers. |
What
information is shown in my RSS feed?
Your RSS feed will show thumbnail image, title, description
(up to 500 characters), categories and your title (your
username). |
Email Communications

What
is an email distribution list and how can it help me?
Its another great optional tool created to help you communicate
with your fiends, family and the world! Your email distribution
tool, located in your account, can be used to broadcast
one email message to your list of contacts. You can include
up to 100 contacts and can send out an email instantly. |

What
is required to send emails?
All you need is a free DealBundle account. Once confirmed,
you can start to add contacts (you at least need one contact
:-). Then you must update your name in your profile.
When we send the email we will use your name as the "From:"
and your email address as the "Reply to:". This
way you can use your favorite email address and all is
private. |
Do
you send ads or anything strange in the emails I send?
We do NOT and will NEVER insert anything except a small
link back to your DealBundle (you will see this small
link back to your DealBundle below your message - this
way you don't have to). |
Do
I have to set up a special dealbundle.com email address?
No. How many email address does one need! We send out
emails with your name as the "From:" and your
email address as the "Reply to:". This way you
can use your favorite email address and all is private.

How
can I add contacts to my list or edit them?
You can add contacts and edit them from your account here. |
Can
I exclude any contacts from a distribution email?
Absolutely! You will see a check box next to each contact.
If you do NOT want an email sent to them simply un-check
the box next to their name. When sending we will exclude
that contact. |
How
do I send an email from my account?
You can send an email from your account once you have
updated your name and have at least one contact, just
click here.

How
long does it take to send out an email?
It depends on how many contacts you are sending it out
to and how many members are also sending out emails. It
can take less than 1 minute or may take up to 5-10 minutes. |
What
if my contacts reply to my email, where will that go?
Since we use your name and your email address, any replies
will go to your own email account - easy right! Don't
worry we keep this private and confidential.
Important! If you get a non-delivered or error message
from one of your contact's emails in your email (since
reply's go to you). Please update or remove that email
address from your contacts - thank you! |
How
can I contact other members??
You can send an email message only if that member has
allowed other members to contact them. When logged in,
you will see "Contact Me" on a member's profile
section. By clicking "Contact Me" you will be
taken to a message screen. If you do NOT see "Contact
Me" then this member does not want to be contacted.

Pages
seem not to work correctly, saying I need "Javascript"
turned on or installed?
Make sure your browser has JavaScript turned on! Much
of the functionality of DealBundle relies on JavaScript
technology to work properly. Most browsers have JavaScript
enabled by default but they also allow the user to disable
or enable it. We require JavaScript to be enabled for
our website to function properly.
